These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Sheepdog Security Solutions website and the services provided by Sheepdog Security Solutions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, contacting Sheepdog Security Solutions, or requesting services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Services
Sheepdog Security Solutions provides security consulting, system design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and related support services for residential and commercial clients.
Services may include recommendations involving third-party products and manufacturers. Product availability, manufacturer specifications, and third-party service terms may change without notice.
3. Consultations and Assessments
Consultations and on-site assessments are paid services unless otherwise stated in writing.
For residential projects, consultation fees may be credited toward installation when stated in the proposal or service agreement.
Commercial consultation pricing may differ from residential pricing.
4. Estimates, Proposals, and Scope of Work
Any estimate or proposal provided by Sheepdog Security Solutions is based on the information available at the time of review and may be subject to change if site conditions, client requests, product availability, or project requirements change.
Work will be performed according to the agreed scope described in the proposal, estimate, invoice, or other written approval. Additional work outside the approved scope may require a change order and additional charges.
5. Payments
A deposit may be required before equipment is ordered or installation is scheduled. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customized orders and project scheduling may depend on receipt of the required deposit.
For many projects, Sheepdog Security Solutions requires 50% upfront, with the remaining balance due according to the agreed terms.
Late payments may delay scheduling, delivery, continued work, warranty service, or project closeout documents.
6. Equipment and Third-Party Products
Sheepdog Security Solutions may recommend or install products from third-party manufacturers such as Ring, Blink, Eufy, Arlo, Nest, SimpliSafe, Wyze, Schlage, Yale, August, Reolink, and others.
Manufacturer warranties, software platforms, cloud services, apps, subscriptions, monitoring plans, and product support are controlled by those third parties. Sheepdog Security Solutions is not responsible for changes made by manufacturers, service outages, discontinued products, app changes, subscription price changes, or third-party policy updates.
7. Installation Scheduling and Delays
Installation timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, permits, site access, product delays, change requests, utility issues, subcontractor availability, or other factors outside our reasonable control.
Sheepdog Security Solutions will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes and complete work in a timely manner.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, granting safe and timely access to the work area, and ensuring that pets, occupants, and valuables are managed appropriately during service visits.
Clients are also responsible for maintaining internet, Wi-Fi, cellular, and electrical conditions needed for connected devices unless those items are specifically included in the project scope.
9. Monitoring, Connectivity, and Performance
System performance may depend on internet service, Wi-Fi strength, cellular signal, power availability, manufacturer apps, and third-party monitoring services.
Sheepdog Security Solutions does not guarantee uninterrupted monitoring, app access, cloud recording, alerts, or remote connectivity where those functions rely on third-party services, local network conditions, or utility availability.
10. Warranties and Service Calls
Installed products may carry manufacturer warranties subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.
Sheepdog Security Solutions also provides a workmanship or installation warranty according to the terms stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
Warranty coverage does not apply to misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, customer-supplied equipment issues, acts of nature, power surges, internet failures, vandalism, or problems caused by third-party products or services outside our control.
Post-warranty service visits, troubleshooting, and replacement work may be billed at standard service rates.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
If a client cancels before installation begins, any refund will depend on work already performed, consultation time, equipment ordered, restocking fees, and other project-related costs already incurred.
Customized or special-order equipment may be non-refundable or subject to supplier restocking fees.
12. Limitation of Liability
Sheepdog Security Solutions provides security consulting and installation services intended to reduce risk, but no security system can eliminate all risk or guarantee prevention of theft, trespassing, vandalism, injury, or loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sheepdog Security Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or losses resulting from criminal acts, equipment failure, service outages, or third-party product issues.
13. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and may be updated at any time without notice.
You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, or use website content for unlawful purposes.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, text, graphics, and original materials created by Sheepdog Security Solutions are the property of Sheepdog Security Solutions unless otherwise stated and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
